About me.
Christopher Stahling
I am a witness. I am a visual artist, a life coach, a chef, a Harlemite, a lover of all things black and gay AF. I come from a legacy of community workers who protect, share and highlight Black queer life.
My background working as a volunteer and an employee of the Schomburg directs me to use skills that I have acquired over the years to continue the archiving Black queer folk.
My mental health background empowers me to always ask questions of how and why to better learn from other people’s stories.
I want to do my part in contributing to the legacy of supporting and amplifying other people’s stories to tell radical truths.
If in this life, we don’t bear witness to each other’s light, then who will?
